On/Off Switch: This switch is located on the front of the equipment and labeled as the Solid State Control. Turn this knob like a radio dial in a clockwise direction to turn the unit on and off, as well as to control the amount of pressure coming out of the gun. Turning this dial all the way up will cause the unit to become louder, while turning this unit down will cause the unit to become quieter.  For best results, you should have this set between medium and high.  In addition to reducing the volume, this setting also helps to control excess overspray while keeping the solution spray in the ideal mist spray pattern.  You must plug in the power cord to the connection area directly below the Solid State Control before spraying.

Hose Connection: The smaller side of the hose plugs directly into the compressor. The larger side of the hose has a quick release feature, which requires you to pull the coupling ring back, attach the hose to the gun, and listen for the click. On this unit, the hose connects on the right side of the equipment.

Solution Flow Screw: This screw is located at the back of the gun. Turning the screw all of the way in will reduce air flow and solution flow, while unscrewing the nozzle will increase both air flow and solution flow.  For a narrower spray pattern, turn the screw almost all the way in. To create a wider spray pattern, you will want to loosen the screw to open the flow control.  For best results, the screw should be adjusted (from a closed position) no more than one-half to three-quarters of a turn open.

Nozzle Orientation: On the front of the gun, you will see that the nozzle may be rotated into a vertical or horizontal position. This orientation may be changed by simply turning the nozzle in the direction that you would like to spray. 

Air Versus Solution: When the unit is powered on, you will receive a steady flow of air only from the gun. Simply depressing the trigger will engage the gun and begin solution flow. 

*Helpful Hint: You may use the gun to dry your clients when you are done by simply releasing the trigger, which will allow air only to flow through the gun.
